MILTON, ON, OCTOBER 23, 2023 — The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board (OMDREB) is proud to announce the outstanding success of our Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held on September 12 at Piper's Heath Golf Club in Milton. This year, we raised a remarkable $21,551.04, the second-highest total in the tournament's history, for Halton Women’s Place, a local organization dedicated to assisting and empowering women in need.
The event, which brought together golf enthusiasts, sponsors, local partners, and supporters of our cause, saw a nearly sold-out number of participants. Attendees enjoyed a beautiful day on the greens while demonstrating their unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
"We are thrilled with the overwhelming support we received for this year's charity golf tournament," said OMDREB President Hunter Obee. "The generous contributions from our participants, sponsors, and volunteers will make a significant difference in the lives of women and families who rely on the essential services provided by Halton Women’s Place."
The funds raised will go directly to supporting Halton Women’s Place's programs and services, including safe shelter, counselling, and advocacy for women and children experiencing domestic violence.
